Can you incorporate my existing team into the family office?
We advocate for a gradual transition from your current structure to the new family office setup. Whenever possible, we integrate your existing staff and advisors into the new framework, only recommending the replacement of the existing team when we identify significant competence gaps or integrity concerns. We discourage abrupt changes, as they often lead to disruptions.
Think of it as assembling a new chamber orchestra. We may introduce a conductor and possibly a concertmaster but retain the current players. It's possible that we may expand to a full orchestra later, but this won't be our initial approach. Establishing a structure is a straightforward task, while finding the right individuals to fill the positions is challenging, and creating a cohesive team dynamic takes time.
